It was a busy few days with classification this week, starting out at Kiah on Monday and then to Yarrawonga, Geoff Coomes had his hands full. 160 Sale Bulls classified at Yarrawonga, 300 females from Kiah and 117 from Muldoon. We were very happy with the result and with the quality and condition of the cattle that came through the yards.

Congratulations to Kindee Pastoral Co for another very impressive sale at the Roma store sale this week. Ian and Janie Murray with sons Andrew and Stuart sold Santa steers to 211c and averaged 202c for 327kgs to make $660. Their Santa-cross heifers reached 188c and averaged 175c for 337kgs to return $589.

July 8th, 2010The Santa Gertrudis line up at the 2010 Clermont Feature Show was strong this year with Yarrawonga Waco
taking out many of the broad ribbons.
Waco Xavior won Junior Champion Bull, led by Craig Leggit.
Waco Willow won Senior and Grand Champion Female, led by Craig Leggit and Alastair Bassingthwaighte holding the trophy. The cow was purchased for $9,500 at the 2009 night sale by Paul Allison & Janine Edwards.
Reserve Champion Female, Waco Yasabel
Waco T-Bone won Grand Champion Led Steer.
